Christmas Cats: Inca book series, volume two is an adorable short story through the eyes of the curious and beautiful cat Inca. Inca, two other cats, and their hamster friend Charlotte live with their fun owner Missy. Missy owns a cheese shop which the cats adore. The book is filled with mystery and problem solving. One of Missy's neighbors go on an adventure (of course with their dog detective) to find a missing man in the himalayans. While they are away there is trouble occurring at a different neighbors house. When the streets bully dog Boss comes to Missy's and Inca's home in search of help for his master Ned, who is being forced to move out of his deceased family members home by his grumpy and not friendly cousin! Ned he cannot locate the documents proving the home was left to him and has no idea what to do! Inca does it once again and is a hero, using her creative tools to sneak into the room of Neds cousin to look for the document. In return Boss agrees to forever be kind to all cats and Charlotte. Her friends name their detective group after her and when their neighbors bring the missing man home everything is well again!The book was easy to read. It took me about an hour. Seeing thing through a pets eyes was new and fun, and it was so interesting hearing a cat describe other animals and humans as well. There are little animated illustrations which were so cute and made following the story and knowing the animals easy and fun. This book would be great for kids or even parents to read to younger kids. It was a very cute story and I enjoyed reading it. The book is the second in the series, I have not read the first but you don't need to, to follow this book. However now I am going to read the first one! This book is a great choice.

This book did not compare with the first one in the series. It was very very weak, and should be advertised for children, not adult readers.
A lovely short story about moral values and friendship, set in modern times but with the enchanting atmosphere of classical English children's books. The detective story twist adds the touch of suspense loved by children and adults alike (I was caught by it!!) and the colourful illustrations add beauty to the book. This book will certainly be read and re-read with pleasure!!.
This is the 2nd in a wonderful series that I read aloud to my grand dadughter. She was enchanted with it and now wants the next one. She is very disappointed that there isn't a next one yet!
I found Inca Book Series, Volume Two as interesting and engaging as the first. I am a pet lover I love the way it highlights the intelligence of their elegant creatures. All characters of the story such as dogs, hamsters, felines and humans are well represented. The delightful and colorful illustrations connect me with the characters in the story. The story the purely describes the relationship of friendship and Inca’s leadership qualities. While reading I fell in love with it from the first page to the last. The story and its conclusion is heart touching and stirred me as a reader.
I was quite impressed with this book. I know it would be a great reader for school aged children. I really became attached to the characters. In this book the dogs, cats, and humans work together to solve cases. This book includes historical and cultural information along with the story line. It is a modern book with the use of a laptop with skype by one of the characters. This would make a terrific movie sometime.
In this book, Inca, Cara, Fromage, and Charlotte are back. As well as new faces. While, this book may have been titled a holiday read, it can be read anytime of the year. The more I am familiar with all of the cats, the more I like them. Another mystery for Inca and her team of detectives. Which was fun to follow and see how Inca and the rest would solve this one. Although, as much as I enjoyed everyone from the first book; for some reason I had a harder time in the beginning jumping right into this story. It took me until about a third of the way into the story before I really found my groove. Again, however, this is just me. The younger readers will have no problems reading this book.
Cats Inca, Cara, and Fromage are back, along with their friends of the cat, dog, hamster, and human varieties. The neighborhood bully, Boss the dog, asks for their help, and in return makes a hard-to-keep promise to be nice to cats. Boss's human is about to be evicted from his house, all because the will leaving it to him is missing. Inca's newly formed detective agency is in business and intends to see justice done. This book is as charming and as much fun as the first in the series, The Cats Who Crossed Over from Paris. And everybody gets to see Aunt Florence in person when she comes from France to visit for Christmas.
