I must tell you up front that Rick's book was eagerly anticipated by me since I have worshiped with, and known him as a brother in Christ, for several years.
My bias, therefore, is what I have known and seen of the author, i.e. a man of intelligence and integrity, curious by nature and a wholly dedicated servant of The LORD.
The book itself candidly reflects Rick's down to earth authentic personality. There are no magic scriptural formulas, fireworks or unearthly experiences here, only a man heeding the Holy Spirit and witnessing the results of his obedience...even when it made him uncomfortable.
That's right folks...these are true accounts of actual experiences involving real people; some of whom I know.
The book is an easy read. Rick comes across as an author the same as if you were talking to him about ordering parts for your car or windows for your home laid back, no fluffy nonsense...real.
I am blessed, uplifted and my faith has been strengthened through reading these accounts.
I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking authenticity in this world of false hopes and idols.
